現在、哺乳類と鳥類における繁殖生物学的および機能形態学的研究をおこなっている。繁殖生物学的研究では、家畜や野生動物の精巣や胎盤における性ステロイドホルモン合成とそれらレセプターの局在と変化を解析することで、精巣や胎盤における性ステロイドホルモンの働きの解明をおこなっている。機能形態学的研究では、野生動物を中心にその四肢の骨格可動域を非破壊的な方法において解析し、形態学的環境適応の解明をおこなっている。
