Title:Professor
Degree:Ph.D.
Name of the field:Bacteriology
Current research
I am developing the diagnostic methods of bacterial infection and genotyping methods of bacteria for the utilization of epidemiological study to clarify the spread route. In addition I am analyzing the acquisition mechanism of drug resistance in bacteria to get the basic data for the development of rapid drug susceptibility test and design new therapeutic agents. In this program would like to holster "Zoonosis Control Expert" with the wide knowledge on zoonosis control and property to contribute to outbreak control.
Projects for graduate students
- Promotion of fostering Zoonosis Control Expert
- Global surveillance for infectious diseases/Support for the international activity in the field of zoonosis
- Activities as a member of the steering committee of the leading program
- Publicity activity for the program
