One professor, Two lecturers (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University)
One of lecturers will stay as research student for 1-2 years, and another lecturer will stay as visiting researcher for 3-6 month at Graduate school of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University.
From Nigeria
One professor, Two researchers (National Centre for Energy and Environment, University of Benin)
Subject is to discuss on research activities on environmental pollution in Nigeria. In addition, another aim is to attend the Symposium on Environmental Issues in Africa which will be held at Hokkaido University.
From South Africa
Two students (doctor course), One researcher (Faculty of science, Johannesburg University, and BioAssets company)
The aim of this visit is to discuss on our collaborative research activities in National park of South Africa. DNA microarray analysis and chemical analysis has also been (will also be) performed.
From Zambia
One lecturer (School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zambia)
During short period (one month), chemical analyses of human blood samples were performed to investigate heavy metal exposure.
From Ghana
One student (enrollee of Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University)
The major research subject is “Environmental Toxicology” and one of aims is to investigate environmental pollution and risks to wildlife, domestic animals and human in Ghana.
