Investigating activation mechanisms of cGAS-STING for innate immunity against West Nile virus (WNV)
コメント
Since my undergraduate study, I always have been fascinated by how the immune systems fight pathogens, especially when it comes to fighting intracellular pathogens such as RNA virus. During this research study, I will learn the basic and translational aspect of innate immunity against WNV. I will be focusing on the roles of cellular organelles such as mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum (ER), vault and ubiquitous molecules such as cGAS and STING in immunity against mosquito-borne RNA virus.
My interests other than scientific research are enjoying good life (physically, mentally and spiritually) by being close to the nature. I also enjoy playing with cats and dogs, while cooking and enjoying good foods with my wife every now and then.

Development of a New Serodiagnosis Method for Tick-Borne Encephalitis Virus (TBEV) by Immunochromatography
コメント
I believe timely, accessible diagnostics are the first step in protecting communities from invisible threats. That’s why I work to improve the diagnosis of diseases like TBEV.

I am very thrilled to be selected as a participant in the Training Program for Asian Veterinarians (TPFAV) 2025 organized by the Japan Veterinary Medical Association (JVMA) for a specialized training in Public Health. I am very grateful to be a part of the Public Health Laboratory family to be able to learn more about the intricacies of viruses and what it entails to Public Health.
