Objective:
This seminar is planned for those who are currently studying at universities/research institutes in the field of zoonotic diseases. The purpose is to provide young participants from Japan and foreign countries with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of zoonosis which is among the most serious issues facing humanity, through presentations and active discussions. The organizing committee also expects this seminar will facilitate an active network of young scientists.

Recently, H1N1 pandemic influenza viruses are circulating worldwide, and
become of major concern to public health. In order to prevent infectious
diseases, such as influenza, it is important to develop effective vaccines.
In this seminar, we invite three world-famous speakers in the field of
immunology and vaccinology. The invited speakers give presentations on
recent work in their fields.
